The AIGA West Michigan Mentorship Program is back again this fall and is accepting applications for mentors and mentees.

Wherever you’re headed in your design career, this mentorship program is designed to get you one step closer to achieving your creative and professional goals.

The Fall 2023 program is aimed at meeting mentees from all creative industries and experience levels right where they are. We then pair all mentees with a seasoned mentor who can help them grow and mature as creative professionals.

The program is flexible, meaning we provide the toolkit for your mentor/mentee relationship and allow you to steer the ship in the direction you want to go.

Kickoff for the Fall 20203 program will be in early September. We’ll share the location once we’re closer to the kickoff date.

Who should join?

Students

Get a sneak peak into professional life. Talk about interviewing and job hunting. Learn what it’s like to work at an agency, in-house, or what it’s like to freelance.

Early Professionals

Learn about setting boundaries and building work/life balance. Find out about what it’s like to level-up your skills. Talk about pay negotiations, changing jobs, or handling the challenges life throws your way.

Mentors

Give back to your local community. Build relationships with other creatives outside your work. And you have just as much to learn from your mentee as they can learn from you.
