Design Thinking is a human-centered approach to solving complex problems. The process uses an organized method of defining the problem through observing and empathizing with the people who are impacted by the problem, finding insightful patterns, generating multiple solutions, prototyping solutions, and testing them. Empathy is a core, foundational component of design thinking; if we don’t truly understanding who we are solving for, the entire design process becomes much less-effective and puts projects at risk of being misguided.
Join Jason Kehrer of the New North Center for Design in Business for an interactive workshop to learn more about the foundations of empathy, be introduced to tools to help discover more about your users and experience how a deeper understanding of others can be gained.
Small fee of $10 includes appetizers and drinks.
