A KCAD Pop-Up Talk with Tucker Viemeister
Called “guru” by BusinessWeek and “industrial design’s elder wonderkind” by ID, Tucker Viemeister holds 32 US utility patents and leads Viemeister Industries in New York. His life and work represent a convergence of ideas and stuff, touching industrial design, architecture, education, graphics, new media, and consulting, among other disciplines. Influenced equally by his father’s radical industrial designs (see the the infamous 1948 Tucker Sedan) and his mother’s passion for community engagement, Viemeister balances enjoyment with responsibility and business with culture. He helped found a number of influentialdesign organizations, including frogdesign NY, Razorfish, SmartDesign, Springtime-USA, and was Chief of the LAB at Rockwell Group.
Event is free but registration is required.
