The AIGA West Michigan Mentorship Program is back this fall and will be accepting applications for mentors and mentees soon!

Wherever you’re headed in your design career, the mentorship program is here to help pave the way and get you one step closer to achieving your creative and professional goals.

The 2022 program is aimed at meeting mentees from all creative industries and experience levels right where they are. We then pair all mentees with a seasoned mentor who can help them grow and mature as creative professionals.

Our program is flexible, meaning we provide the toolkit for your mentor/mentee relationship and allow you to steer the ship in whichever direction you want to go.

Who should join?

Students

Get a sneak peak into professional life. Talk about interviewing and job hunting. Learn what it’s like to work at an agency, in-house, or what it’s like to freelance.

Early Professionals

Learn about setting boundaries and building work/life balance. Find out about what it’s like to level-up your skills. Talk about pay negotiations, changing jobs, or handling the challenges life throws your way.

Mentors

Give back to your local community. Build relationships with other creatives outside your work. And you have just as much to learn from your mentee as they can learn from you.
